Tammara Heaslip

 

I was born and raised in Chatham, Ontario to a Canadian mom and a Greek dad with my four younger sisters. Always singing at home, my parents enrolled me at age 10 in music lessons. I encountered the life changing gospel of Christ at age 14 and shortly thereafter began singing and leading worship in church. In 1994 I graduated high school and became a student at World Impact Bible Institute (now Celebration Bible College) and the School of Music Ministry in Niagara. A year later I began working for the school part time and in the church part time assisting the music director.

In 1998, I married the love of my life, Chris, and continued to work in the school and serve in the local church in the music ministry. Eventually I became the Student Life Director and Director of the Celebration of Arts School. In 2004, I took the first of 3 maternity leaves in 4 years and had my beautiful sons, Lucas, Maxwell and Carter. Since then, I have been blessed to have the opportunity to work solely in the church as the Children's Ministry Director seeing the children of our church family grow the Lord every week.
